Inspiring Gratitude

Inspiring Gratitude

Pastor Tim focused his message this past weekend on the need for gratitude of heart, recognizing our tendency to despair, complain and become bitter in the midst of the tribulations of life. We have much for which to be thankful.

Take a few seconds, right now, and list a few things for which you are thankful. If you like, share your top three in the comments.

Now, consider the opportunity you have, today, to inspire thanksgiving in others. If your list included individuals, reach out to them and let them know you are thankful for them. Then, encourage them to do the same.

Take a moment to list three things for which you are thankful on social media. Lord knows, there is enough less than desirable content there. Let’s tip the balance of the scale by making a positive contribution.

Now…send Pastor Tim a message and say something to encourage his heart. Let him know you are thankful for his leadership and his desire to share the gospel with our neighbors. Say a prayer for him, right now, and ask the Lord to manifest Himself through him, whether that be in the counseling room or the pulpit; in the hospital room or on the pickleball court, lol.

Share this post with a friend and encourage them to do the same. Happy Wednesday!

I will thank the Lord with all my heart! I will tell about your amazing deeds!
