Bibles For China

Pray

Since 2015, we have have been praying for our sisters and brothers in China. Though Christian churches exist, legally, under the supervision of the China Christian Council, Christians face scrutiny and daily challenges we cannot imagine. We invite you to join us in praying for provision and protection for our Christian sisters and brothers there.

Believers in rural China celebrate receiving their copy of the Holy Bible. Such a joy to witness.

Millions of Chinese Christians hunger and thirst for the Word of God. It is legal for Chinese Christians to own a Bible. The only barriers are limited resources and remote location. We continue to give of our resources to provide Bibles to those who have not had access to a Bible of their own. You can join us and GIVE.

We have gone to multiple areas in China to participate in this work.  Pastor James St. John, serves on the Bible For China board and has traveled to China to participate in Bible distributions across China.  God has also provided opportunities for us to participate in days of encouragement for Chinese pastors, providing resources for them to return to their churches more fully equipped to fulfill their calling.  Pastor Tim Thomas has also travelled to participate in Bible distributions.

We celebrate our partnership with Bibles For China and encourage you to visit Bibles For China on the web for more information.

In April 2015, we joined Wendell Rovenstine (founder of Bibles for China) in giving this 83-year-old man his first copy of the Bible. A Christian since 1949, his only portion of the Bible that he owned was a single page that contained portions of the gospel of John. At some point he had found someone to laminate it for him. This local church met in a former “duck house,” where ducks were hatched and raised for cooking.
