Guatemala 2024 Team Updates

Trip Overview

Travel Dates: February 17-24, 2024 (Depart Saturday – Return following Saturday)

Trip registration:

All team members will need to complete the steps below in order to register for this trip.

  1. Complete the online Trip Information Form (click) and subsequent Background Check
  2. Read through the following documents (at the bottom of this page):
    • Travel Documents and Policies
    • Guatemala Trip Overview

Costs:

$1,580 per person, plus airfare (Tickets will be finalized and purchased as a group 60-90 days prior to trip.)  Per person cost includes:

  • Saturday to Friday AM at Hope of Life
  • All in-country transportation
  • All in-country meals (excluding airport food)
  • Insurance for each participant (Premium Plan)
  • A World Help staff person to accompany the group
  • Shopping and Sightseeing trip on Friday in Antigua, Guatemala, including hotel stay in the historic city center prior to departure on Saturday.

There will be costs associated with obtaining/updating passports, if necessary.  Get the process for passports started, NOW!  Processing is taking up to six months.  Go to: https://www.usa.gov/passports (CLICK)

Payment deadlines:

  • $100/person due – July 21, 2023
    • Flights will be secured at this time for the estimated group size, with the ability to drop unwanted space without penalty if you have 10 or more participants. 
  • $900/person due – November 17, 2023
    • Tickets will be finalized and purchased under each person’s name at this time.
  • Balance due – January 12, 2024
  • The above payment deadlines are when our group payments must be made to World Help.
