It can be difficult to find a place to belong in a large church family. At Freedom Church, we are committed to small group ministry. We believe we are following in the footsteps of Jesus, who led the first small group of twelve men…eleven of whom turned the world upside down with the Gospel!
As the Church Body Grows Larger, It Must Become Smaller
God uses small groups to transform lives, and thus Freedom Church. Small groups are a place of focused study and prayer, bearing burdens and showing mercy, and becoming conformed to the image of Jesus, together in community, as God intends.
Sunday Morning
No matter your age or experience, there is a small group for you! Our small group ministry on Sunday Morning, from 9:45 to 10:45, is an age-graded “Sunday School,” including a nursery. Children’s classes require a security check-in (opens @ 9:30 am) at the entrance to the Tree House, adjacent to the foyer.
Current Sunday Small Groups (Youth-Adult)
- Youth – meets in the Children’s Tree House – led by Janna Rae and Jared Thomas
- Adult (30-40s) – meets in FLC Room 113 – led Pastors Amy and Patrick Rainey – current study of the book of Job
- Adult (Men) – meets in Rm 105 – led by a teaching team of men – Wesley Bible Study Series
- Adult (Ladies) – meets in Rm 108 – led by Heidi Thomas
- Adult (Senior Adults) – meets in the FLC Dining Room – led by Morris Graybeal – Wesley Bible Study Series
Wednesday Evening

- Renewing the Mind – led by Misty Grimes, open to all ages and situations – FLC Room 114
